My mission will start by seeing twelve businesses tomorrow. I have made my list for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of this week with Thanksgiving and Friday being off days so it's important to get things off on a solid start this week. My formula is using an average a deal a day between the dates listed above. This will provide for a very green Christmas and a Happy New Year. How am I going to do this you might ask?
First of all each day i will have to see a minimum of ten businesses, this discipline will insure my closing at least one deal per day for a total of 20 deals in the month of December and 5 for the remaining days in November. Each day is mapped out in advance and being thorough and following through by seeing every business each day and if there is enough time seeing another. Asking for referrals will really help the process.
The motivating factor is moving to the east coast to be closer to my son and this will cover moving expenses as well as cover a new start in a new city in the same business. I am going to chronicle each day and the results of each day along the way to keep an accounting of this journey, wish me well.
side note. It's 3:23am PST. A merchant called me at 1:45am saying the terminal auto batched wiping out hundreds in tips, it was a busy bar they were panicked. Without even thinking the servants heart by the grace of God said go now and adjust those for the manager so I jumped in the car after being asleep for several hours and went directly the business. Tech support was very helpful and within an hour all was repaired and disaster averted. Going the extra mile, making oneself available no matter what the hour, no matter what has really helped my reputation and level of service therefore leading to more referrals and sales.
